Putin signs bill to prolong capital amnesty till Feb 29, 2020
MOSCOW, May 30 (PRIME) -- Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed into law a set of bills prolonging capital amnesty for the period from June 1, 2019 till February 29, 2020, according to a relevant document released on the official portal of legal information on Thursday.
Under the bills, people returning money to Russia and reregistering foreign companies in Russia’s special administrative units are released from criminal, administrative and tax persecution.
The first capital amnesty law was in force from July 1, 2015 till June 30, 2016 and the second one from March 1, 2018 till February 28, 2019.
